Managed to eat a chunk out of my alloy wheel today - Bugger! my fault - kerbed the damn thing - so little 'feel' with the auto going slow, then Bugger! a damn great pothole bites another chunk out of the wheel along with a section of P-Rosso!
I feel a claim against the council coming on. They know about the hole 'cos it has yellow marker paint around it but no warnings and it is much more than the 6mm allowed under the road traffic act!
I wish 80 section tyres were trendy again. This sort of thing did not happen in the 70's!

Bad enough on an older car-but when it's brand new, it hurts that little bit more.

I'd go for the council-they know it needs repairing-why not a temporary fill until a proper repair could be done?
