Webasto remote control upgrade

Has anyone upgraded the Webasto for the 1.4TDi A2 with a two way remote control or timer ?

I have done this, but it seems like I need to reprogram the ECU to let it know that I have a remote. The problem is that the heater fan does not start when it is supposed to do so.

Have anyone experience with this ? I saw in the last "Gute Farht" magazine (German official VW-Audi magazine) that they reprogrammed the ECU when they installed Webasto.

Yes, I have had it done by a webasto dealer.

The remote tells the webasto unit to switch on. This starts the heater, when the heater is warm, the webasto unit operates a relais in the CC thingy and that switches on the CC.
My webasto mechanic had a scheme from Audi that explained which wires and which relais he had to use.
Maybe he did reprogram it but he never told me anything about that. Didn't look like the kind of guy that can reprogram anything with a computer in it.
