Does anyone know about the 2 series, it's a 1 series with a boot.
Just saw pictures of it in this weeks Auto Express if anyone's interested. I couldn't see any photos on their site hence no link.

Sure it wasn't a cabrio?

I read somewhere that BMW were re-aligning their model numbers, so odds were one type (saloon, estate) and even were cabrio, coupe etc.

Could be wrong but they are doing something along those lines.

Steve - 2002 1.4SE petrol, Silver, black/black interior, Then an identical replacement 2003 A2. Now a Toyota Corolla 1.6 T-Spirit

No Steve, definitely said it was a booted version of the 1 series. It's a 2 door. If you get a chance have a look at this week's auto express.

Cheers,
Shaf

BMW has re-structured its model line up.
ALL standard cars 4/5 doors are now odd numbers ie 1, 3, 5, 7 Series.
The coupes are now even numbers, 2, 4 ( 3 series coupe) and 6 (existing 5 coupe)which allows (god forbid) the 8 to return!

I am the Fifth Column. I am no longer an A2 owner. The A3 TDI DSG is awesome - yoof influence - I do wear a baseball cap but NOT backwards.
