Wheel Security Bolts - VAG types vs McGard

I am looking at buying a set to upgrade the security of the alloy wheels. Having previously bought a VAG group set from VW for £30 then noted the self same set was available from a Skoda garage for £20 I am asking questions first. Incidentally, this set I bought - for my other car - comes in a splined style with a unique code number whereas the A2 supplied one - ie the one coming with the car is a chromed type which looks as if it is the same as every other A2! I am investigating the McGard type but need to know the size and if anyone knows of a good supplier.

What have you all got? Has anyone bought the McGard type? Can you recommend a supplier?
