Scratched 17 in alloys

I managed to scratch my alloy wheel on two occasions. It`s allways n/s/r. I`m sure I`m not alone. Is there a way of repairing them?
Any help appreciated.

A company such as Chips Away (there will be others closer to you, look up alloy wheel repairers on yell.com) can refurbish alloys - I understand it costs about £50 per wheel.
