Flashing Indicators..

Just noticed that my indicators, when used, flash twice then go off. I then have to reselect the direction of indication and they work fine until cancelled,, is this anything to do with the fact that the service indicator is showing me a count down mileage.

I know that thwey behave funny when towing or if the towbar has any electrical connection in place but this is not the case here.

I had that on our 1.2 also, the indicator relais had to be exchanged, then everything was fine again. It seems VAG used a none too good part here, because it happened to a lot of A2 drivers. Apparently the relais is behind the ashtray... I paid €35 to the dealer for doing it, because I did not know where it was!

It turns out to be the relay.. Local Audi dealer, says 2 hours fitting time, 12 days before we can fit you in.

Audi Rescue,, 28mins to get to me and fitted in 40mins.. thank you Tony..Audi Rescue

Took an Audi dealer 50mins to change my relay, which seemed to include 30mins thinking time.
