View Full Version : Washer Liquid Bottle - to cap or not to cap?

Hi all

Prompted by discussion with another new (ex-demo) A2 owner, we both noticed with some surprise no cap on the washer bottle in either of our cars. Is there one (which we both happen not to have), or does it get sealed when it swings back into place?? The documentation doesn't help and the likelihood of getting the truth out of the salespersons is not favoured.

Cheers

Hi and welcome,

Don't worry about not having a cap on your washer filler as they don't have one. It should have a plastic filter that looks like a tea strainer inserted at the top, presumably to keep out any dirt. The filter is removable.

Hope that helps

Welcome to the forum!

I second Shaf's comments - there's definitely not meant to be a cap on the water filler bottle.
