VAG-COM

Hello all,
Can anyone point me in the right direction for buying a VAG-COM unit (software and interface) suitable for connection to a USB-only equipped laptop?
Is it worth getting an interface from EBay, then using third-party software, or what?

They claim to have USB units too. But be ready for a hefty 229 pounds for the lead+software.
I've also seen some remarks about using a serial cable with an serial-to-usb converter. That increases your chances on ebay...

Other than that I know very little about it all...

Funny, but a search on google uk didn't come up with the UK site!

I will look into the subject further, but I think EBay might be the way to go.
