Was in Herefordshire the past weekend and then Wales... Lovely weekend.
This is my car earlier today:

and then once home:

Again realised what an effortless cruiser the TDI is over long distances... Still love this car!

Yeah yeah, designer mud from John Lewis!!
You'll be having a 4X4 next and only using it to drive on and off a 4 inch high kerb!!
Only joking with you!
The first picture looks good-nature meets the beast!

Mud flaps!!! And then the neighbours can't see I was on a road other than tarmac!!! Oh no! [13] hehehe... but alas. My car has thus seen more mud than most 4x4s will ever see on their daily school run!

Johann, if you get a dog you can have it muddy inside as well! Don't get an er spaniel because it gets blanked out on the forum e.g. my dog is a ****er spaniel, to make it worse my name is Dick!

Unlike the Norfolk school email system that rejected all emails that related to the Norwich Theatre Royal christmas panto of Dick Whitington, and to which local school children were invited to attend/help in. And the producers wondered why only 2 schools replied! Only 2 accepted the email!

Briefly returning to the subject of mud. I fitted some genuine Audi mud flaps on my A2 the other week. It was a slight pain having to remove the wheels to do this, but now they are on I'm very happy with them, especially in these wet and muddy months. £23 on Ebay well spent I recon. Maybe I'll write a fitting guide for the forum, as the supplied instructions didn't quite tell the whole story.

Will, that sounds like a good idea. You would think that fitting mudflaps would take a couple of minutes in your best suit wouldn't you.
