17" on A2?? Help with offset please

Hi i am looking to replace my 16" alloys fitted to my 2001 A2 1.4SE for 17" items, my problem is that audi fit 17" wheels to the sport but they are only 7" wide and the wheels that i want are 7.5" wide.

what offset will i need? and will the 7.5" rub??

Sorry if the question has been asked before but im new and i did try looking,

Why do you want the 7.5 wide, Ihave enough trouble kerbing the 7 wide, a larger tyre will make your already over reading speedo even worse, also the ride will deteriorate like you won't believe, I have an A2 sport and I am looking to change weels to the 16inch for this very reason.
