Can anyone confirm please that the self-locking at 10mph does not lock the boot - or is it possible to have this done at a dealers. At the moment I am pressing the lock on the drivers door to ensure that the boot is locked.
Kind regards to anyone who can help.

If I open the drivers door only, get in and then drive off the doors lock automatically. When I get out I need to press the boot unlock button on the key (or unlock all the doors from the key)to unlock all the doors before I can open the boot. If the wife and I are both in the car and we both get out the boot is already unlocked. This suggests drive lock does lock the boot.

Thanks for the reply Dave. After self-locking, my wife gets out to check if the boot is locked (having stopped the car first of course !!!!!!!!!! :-)) and it is unlocked. Do you think that this means that the very fact of her opening the door to get out has in fact unlocked the boot?
I think I will have to drive the car without my wife in it and when I come back, get her to check the boot lid before I get out of the car. Maybe that will prove or disprove the fact that the boot locks at the same time as the doors (or doesn`t as the case maybe!!!)
Cor, it gets complicated doesn`t it?

On my A2 the doors lock, but the boot doesn't.
