Mats wanted

A2 front and rear mat set (carpet with sill protectors) wanted. Preferably blue, but black or dark grey will do. OEM Audi mats only wanted.

Hope you dont mind me asking, but what is the script with regards to "carpet with sill protectors" ?

Sorry, a bit unclear... I need mats made of carpet, not rubber, and my A2 brochure lists them as having "sill protectors". Basically, I'm after some genuine A2 SE mats.

I think the brochure may refer to the fact that you also get sill protectors if you go for the carpet mats option? I dont think sill protection is in the remit of the mats?!

Maybe they are refering to the lining around the mats. My old A2 had black mats with red leather lining to match the seats.

Hi James,

Sorry for not replying. As Kaine says I received a virus last week and lost absolutely everything from my PC. It's now back and running (with absolute top virus and firewall security!), I did manage to back most things up before reinstalling everything but unfortunately my Outlook address book and emails were lost.

The mats are still available. I won't be able to send them to you until Wednesday next week though as am making a rush trip to Houston this weekend and so have no time to get to a post office before then.

Any idea how much they are new? - We can then come to a compromise on the price.

Sorry to hear about the pc. What a nightmare!

I've just phoned two differently franchised dealers and they both quote the same price which is £39 (inc vat) for the front mats and £23.50 for the rears. To be honest I only really need the front mats - are you willing to provide just these?

And just to confirm, are yours the original audi mats in light grey wih the plastic 'bits' which locate onto the corresponding studs in the car floor?
