Audi 1.2 ???

Seen in Fareham on Easter Monday.
Silver in colour, I think a Y plate
It had steels and hubcaps, perhaps the owner has swapped his alloys for Winter.

Anyone ???

If it was a 1.2 TDI, it may have been the summer wheels without the aerodynamic wheelcaps that are standard on the 1.2. If it was silver, that makes it the second 1.2 in the UK (because the other one is black and belongs to a member of this forum, Lukas)

It's a shame they never did a RHD 1.2TDi, I think I would have bought one if they did.
Not wanting to hijack this thread.......but does anyone know how many 1.2TDi were made?

Not sure but A2 and TT sales in UK are highest in Europe now.

How you doing Frido? I've in in Germany a lot recently with work (flying not A2 ing!). Still loving 83 MPG average on the 1.2TDI - my wife has managed over 100 MPG recently

According to www.mobile.de, from 9000 Euro upwards. That's for a "well-used" example though - there's one on there with 289000km!

Sensible mileage seems to cost nearer 15000 Euro.

www.audi.de/gebrauchtwagen still has high prices even on high mileage 1.2 TDIs - especially those with power steering and SE equivalnet set up like mine
