A familiar sight. My A2 inside a Kwik-Fit or similar. In all the cars I have had in my life I have never had any punctures. With the A2 this was now my FIFTH one!!! Thankful for the compressor though as I inflated it and could hear the hissing, but after 30 minutes it was still well enough to drive on. So I inflated it to max and went to the nearest Kwik-Fit in Brighton (where I was for the weekend). First one had some excuse about no puncture glue. So drove to another one in a strange town and was helped immediately (this being a Sunday). Heard the guy on the phone saying to someone it will be £15-99 for a puncture repair. Thankfully mine was repairable. The thought of driving back to London on the space saver does not bear thinking! But after he checked the pressure on all the wheels and fixed my tyre he came back and asked if I had a fiver… I did and he said that was fine!!! How nice of him!!! He must have liked my smile! LOL
