Hello everyone

I have discovered that people who drive A2's don't wave to each other which dissappoints me as we all drive a unique and ingenious car that is bought by people because they love what it is and represents rather than because it has 4 wheels and seats. My other car is a smart, and 80% of owners wave at each other; the feel-good factor is great!

From now can we all start to wave and flash headlights to each other. Somebody has to start so I'm going to do it on the way home from work tonight. I often see a blue '02' SE on the A600, so if that is you then your going to get flashed!!!

Sorry Chris - didn't see this thread before starting the other one...

I'm an M4 J17 -> J13 commuter so will start the trend (although no one will actually see me in the inside lane across 3 or 4 lanes and a central reservation)

I've been involved in the mini scene for a few years and everybody waves, so why not us??

I Live in Peterborough, and have seen at least 6 different A2's in the last month, none waved though!!!

Lets get the ball rolling.....

Hey, ULP I went to the Land Rover Show on Sunday, wasn't allowed to take the A2, had to take the Allroad, being a 4x4 and all......

Didn't see any A2's at all. Perhaps we should do that really annoying thing and put a "was it you?" leaflet under the window wiper if we see one in a car park!

Hi Fiona

We were camping near gate 12, it's a shame you didn't see us otherwise we could have had a chin-wag

I loved the show and the off-roading especially; I hate SUV's and all that goes with them, but have always wanted to off-road: It was wicked, so I am now on the look-out for an early Disco 200Tdi that I can use (exclusively) off-road [23]

Might know where a Disco is, where are you based? We're looking for a Defender 90, one that doesn't have a rotten chassis and doesn't cost a fortune!

I am in Bedfordshire, just North of Hitchin.

Ideally I am looking for something very old for less than a grand; I don't mind if it needs work, as most of the stock stuff will be coming off anyway, and it will be a long term project [13]

Just have to convince the other half that it's a good idea. A friend of mine is into off-road driving in a big way. It almost killed him to say it, but he suggetsed I start with a Suzuki SJ as they can do most of what a leaf-sprung 90 can do! Food for thought...

I admit the idea of a Defender appeals, but they are SO expensive!

Sorry to everyone else [14]
