Dashboard top?

Hi!
This is my first topic ever on this Forum, since I'm a A2 owner since last thursday (A2 1.4 TDI Blue Cobalt).

I've a doubt about the top of the dashboard, since it was a marking, almost looks like some compartment. Do you know exacly what's the function of that area?

Welcome A2day!.

As far as I know this is just a feature marking in the dashboard top and is not a secret box or place for the sat nav!.

I think the designers were board and decided to do it for a laugh and confuse the A2 owners!

Does anyone have any idea whats below that area?
Could it be used to put some tft screen? Or even a sat nav, like runboy told...

I will try to do a virtual image with that idea! :-) eheh.... wait and see! :-) eh eh
