I'd like a set of 17" sport wheels/tyres for my SE to replace the 16"s.
Must be in good condition, no major kerb damage/bent rims.
Cheers

try ebay,
make sure you ask if they are genuine audi alloys though as there are some replicas about.
i know there is a set of 4 without tyres listed on ebay with minor marks, starting price is around £100
Whats the matter with the replicas?

Ah, was thinking about getting some replicas, thats why i questioned. Does anyone know who makes the replicas?

as far as i know there are a few companies making these replicas, but i have heard that some of the lower quality replicas can buckle easily.

To be honest I don't care who makes them. There are deals out there for complete sets and that may be the way I go in the end. I'm just concerned about the offset because I don't know what it should be. I will examine the wheels fitted and use the offset on those as my guide. Have to "pimp my ride" as the saying goes!! :D
£500 for a set of wheels and 205/40/17 tyres doesn't seem out of the way to my thinking. Plus about £100 for some lowering springs and the whole shooting match comes in at a reasonable total.
It's the offset I'm more concerned about.
Baked... :)

toby 1 for the Audi 17" sport you need an offset of 38, at least thats what my wheels have stamped inside the circular area where the bolts go, look there and it will tell you what they are, you also need a PCD of 100
