Can anyone recommend a product to clean and bring the black SE plastic door trim caps just under the windows back their original glory. They have been cleaned with a fluffy cloth in the past, which has stuck to the rough texture (and makes it look grey!!) and now needs a good clean. All suggestions and experiences welcomed.
Thanks...

Hi Snubnose
I personally use "Autoglym Vinyl and Rubber Care".
www.autoglym.co.uk
This comes in a trigger bottle which I find better as you only spray as much as you need, also it leaves only a semi gloss finish which looks much better than the high gloss from products like "Back to Black".
I squirt it on,leave it a minute then buff off with a microfibre cloth, gives a great reult everytime.

If its the same as the trim in the Sport models, (rough matt rubbery plastic) then I use wet interior/dash wipes, you can get them from any car accessory shop/poundshop. A bit like wetwipes, but for cars! they don't stick to the trim ('cos they're wet) and work on the dash, around the door trim, and that little bit of plastic trim by the accelorater pedal that i use to rest my foot when I'm driving, which gets all mucky!

Peronally I find baby wipes excellent just get the cheapest you can then follow with a lint free cloth to 'retexture'
