2nd remote playing up - problem solved

:) Having had the car chipped my wife found her remote no longer worked, the local Audi garage said to bring it in and they could re-sync it. Just checked the manual, its surprisingly easy


Press a button on the remote
Turn the key in the door lock (either way)
Wait upto one minute for the syncronizing to take place


Works perfectly again now!

Do you keep the button pressed as you turn it ?And do you return the key to the normal position,and do you keep the key in the door. ??
I got a new key with my 51 plate,and cannot get it to synch.

I just pressed and released the button, then turned the key in the lock, turned it back to centre and took it out, it may only work for existing keys that have gone out of sync. Our Sharan had a new key and had to go to VW to be programmed to the car, the above method didn't work.
