Hi i dont own a A2 just now but i am hoping that my mum will get one as she is thinking of changing her Fiesta Zetec-S.

I have had A2's as courtsy cars a fair few time and think they are really cool little cars.

The ones i have always had have been TDI SE models.

I was wondering what you folks think is better the 1.6FSI or the 1.4TDI?

And what year were these models availiable and i notice there were some changes in the 1.4TDI model.

Hi Soupie

I don't think there is any contest, go the TDi.
I've driven two petrol 1.6 FSI's, I think they are poor, it takes a bit of getting use to driving the dirty diesels, but once you've go to grips with it, it's far more enjoyable, and better economy, and should have a longer life, I've done 96K miles in mine.

Mines an 02, try and get the SE, you get nice wheels, climate, aluminium trip, and ... WOW illuminated vanity mirrors... nice. hehehehe

Oh right cool, so what is the difference between both TDI engines?

And the different TDI models?
