Ok in the last month I have had an ABS warning light come on a few times and an engine management light now coming on most mornings (the last 3). The VAG-COM fault points to a solenoid/sensor for the ABS and the EM as a switch (i think under the brake pedel or something) Anyway I got this dianoised at a local garage and since they removed the intial faults the EM came back yesterday.

So I need to get these two things replaced. Any ideas on the sort of cost I should be paying? Im not getting it done at an Audi dealer so the cost will hopefully be kept down. Im hopeing for no more than £100, can anyone with experience please advise so I don't get taken for a ride??!!

Many thanks

Hi cfn
A few club members have had problems with the brake light switch - check out the attached thread

Ive now found out that the Engine management fault is a control switch under the accelerator pedal. This acts basically as the throttle control for the engine. Its going to cost £60 for the part and £90 to fit (all +VAT)

Is this a good price??

Any feedback would be gratefully received
