The A2 I just got has a loose handle on the handbrake and the knob on the end looks like someone has "touched it up" with Hammerite - any ideas what I can do easily to spruce this up ? (I don't want to get in too deep so cosmetic solutions are fine)

The aluminium handbrake button is really scratched up on mine aswell. I found out that they're seeling new ones on vagparts.com for £8 inclusive of VAT

Do the VAGparts replacements come with the ring that holds the handbrake cover in place? Mine seems to be missing and I think that's why I keep pulling my plastic cover off of the handbrake...
