Hi All. I'm new to A2s and the forum. Got a 2002 1.4Tdi a couple of days back. It has the Audi Chorus radio/cassette and I want a cd player. An autochanger may be my best option, but a radio/cd would also be good.
I've looked in the boot and can't see any wiring for a changer, so guess I'd need to attach one directly to the head unit and put the changer in/below the glove compartment or run long leads.
I'd appreciate any advice on this as well as offers.
Thanks

Hi Swayndo
Welcome to the A2oc
I don't think the Chorus can handle a remote CD changer so the upgrade gets pretty expensive if you use Audi gear. See the attached thread for more info. The other option could be an I.Pod

I agree with Spike, i use an iPod with mine. I've got about 5000 songs on it at the mo, saves having my trailer attached carrying my cd collection :D
Halfords do the Dension iPod link for £150 fitted and you can pick an iPod up from £140, tho I'd opt for the 30gb video ipod for £220.

Thanks Spike. The manual for the Chorus says it can and the unit has a CD button. I've seen the post you linked so have mailed a guy on it.
After shelling out for the car I could do with keeping the costs down on extras for the moment and I use my phone as a music player, so don't really need an iPod.
