Does anyone know where to buy mats (front and back) for the A2 that have the proper connectors found on the original a2 mats?

The only place I know where they are sold is pur Audi dealer. Although I haven't checked the price I'm guessing that they're pricey.

We currently have baige mats which get dirty quickly so want to get a set of black ones (we're also on the hunt for the 'rubber' boot liner if anyone knows sellers other than the dealers

thanks

Try the Audi dealer-you may be suprised at how cheap they are......good luck!.

As with many VAG cars, a lot of parts are shared-have you tried SEAT or SKODA to see if they offer mats with the same fittings?.

I agree with Steve. I bought some - not original - mats in a store in Germany.
Later, when I checked the Audi catalogue, I saw the original ones were cheaper...

There is a similarity though: both the Audi-mats and mine cannot be taken out of the car without damaging them. The connectors seem to be stronger than the mats.....

The cost of the mats if you buy them from Audi is £50

£50!. I nearly choked on my hot chocolate!. A set of real snazzy, high quality Cannon rubber and fluffly stuff mats cost about half that. Had a set for 2 years and nearly 30000 miles in my Leon and they looked like new!.

I have blue leather sets in my A2 TDi and Audi make mats with matching blue leather trim on the edge of the mats. However, this option was only possible when the car was ordered, and the original owner did not buy these mats as they were £90. Does anyone know where I can get a set?

Sorry for the delay in replying-no, the mats are generic but fitted well (you trim off the excess) and come with screw down studs to hold the mats in place.
