I have the rear internal lining in black for a SE (51-02) spec A2. This has all the holes for the false floor and all the mounting clips. If anyone is intrested in this item feel free to e-mail me.
Its free to whoever wants to collect it?

Hi Lee
Being new to the whole A2 experience. i'm not quite sure what the rear internal lining is. ? Would I be right in saying that this
is a result of you fitting the 6 disc changer. I would be very grateful if you could explain how you fitted it, parts/cost and ease
of fitting ?
Thanks

RTV..
Yes you are correct about it being a resault of fitting the CD changer.
PARTS.
New lining (foemed to cover CD changer) £75 (UK)
Bracket (to hold CD changer) £50 (UK)
Cable to/from head unit £45 (UK)
CD changer £300 (UK)
(+ vat on all)
Audi wanted £500 (UK) to fit (stuff that idea)
FITTING.
Remove boot rubber seal
Remove panel directly below lock
Remove rear seat(s)
Remove rear drivers door rubber seal
Remove false floor bracket (SE spec)
Remove retractable boot cover (also remove screw)
Remove the load tie down points on the drivers side (Large star shaped bit needed)
Gently prise the lining from the rear panel (clip 1 down by reae lights)
clip 2 should be by the seatbelt mounting (will need small hands for this one)
clip 3 is loacted behind the seat upright locking position (quite fidely)
There are a two small push clips on the forward lower part of the panel pull the panels apart
the last clip is around the seatbelt hole in the panel use a flat screwdriver a gently remove.
Panel removed!
BRACKET.
You will need to obtain 4 bolts which are longer than those supplied but having the same thread!!
Position fixing studs in body panels, align bracket, hold firmly in place and fit and tighten new bolts (dont over tighten as you can't remove them again)
insert CD changer and screw as directed.
CABLE.
Lift plastic kick trim in both the front/rear drivers side footwells.
Starting at the driver door run cable through the centre upright and around the rear wheel arch and connect to the CD changer, run the cable forward to the kick panel next to the GAS pedel, run the cable up and across the lower side of the dashboard (its hard to see).
(at this point you need to remove the head unit using the correct tools..)
feed the cable up and into the void behind the head unit.
Connect wires as directed (DO NOT USE THE CONNECTION BLOCK SUPPLIED) use the existing one fitted to the head unit.
Test the unit and if all OK replace all removed parts remembering to fit the NEW lining.
Once you have all the parts fitting is quite simple it took me most of the day but I didn't know how everything fitted togeather so was being very carfull.
Hope this helps
PS. If you do this check they orded the right bits, took two attempts and 4 weeks for parts and then the bolts were not long enough.
