Symphony 1=6 disc?

Just a quick question, am I right in thinking that all Symphony 1 units are single disc, and Symphony 2`s are 6?

Yes, you'r correct. The single disc Symphony 1 head unit was superceded in late 2001 so most cars will have the 6CD version.
