Hi All, Im still in the search for my A2 with Bench Seat and Leather,

There is one on Ebay at the moment mind you its £9800 for a 04 SE TDI, which seems dear enough, but its got a light grey interior.

Does anyone know if its possible and what sort of job it would be to swap the interior for a leather one? - or have the seats retrimmed?

what about the door panels?

or should i forget it and keep searching?

cheers

Hi tourangang
Check out this previous thread on leather interiors - particularly Skipton's link to the German e.bay site. Add two or three hundred on for labour and you can see just how expensive swapping trim can be.

Given seat airbags, electrical lumber support, heated seats etc you would be mad to even consider it.

You could probably swop the back two over very easily but I wouldn't go near the front ones.

Shure you can change the complete interirior. I did so. (Except the seats and trunk). See some of it here: http://www.a2oc.net/forum/showthread.php?t=3761
I changed from dark gray (26Z) to the light gray. I made leather-doorpannels myself . See ist here: http://forum.a2-freun.de/thread.php?threadid=12201
I did not changed the carpet, so I got a two-tone-interior.
