Can you all let me know what way you are going to the social?
Are you going down on the morning of it? or travelling down the night before?
I live near Stansted Airport so I will be going M11/M25/M20.[8D]

I'll be keeping it nice and simple be by going M20, ....... and thats it. If I know what time other people will be coming past junction 4, we should be able to organise a rolling rendevous.

I can happily make a start from the M20 at Maidstone. On the face of it with so many others travelling the M20 it could be that the Maidstone area could make a meeting place, but exactly where we could meet/park is a bit unknown. Perhaps Rob Earl could comment ?

The services sound about the best idea. Nowhere else instanly springs to mind without the need for detailed directions or a map.

I'm coming from Norwich via A11/M11/M25/M20.....and then probably getting lost around Folkestone!.

But does any A2 owner want to convoy with an ex-A2 owner driving a Corolla......will I ever be accepted again!!!!!!

Change of subject - I imagine that most of you will be bringing cameras with to the social. Any good snaps please send to me as I will need a selection to send to the car publications - the best opportunity will probably be for the person at the back of the convoy drive or if we can get all the A2s in a row in the car park.
Don't worry, I will blank all no. plates before sending them into any magazines.

I was thinking of overtaking a convoy of A2’s and then taking a quick photograph, but then I realised what a stupid idea it was because by the time I pressed the shutter the A2’s would appear like pin pricks in the photo. That said I could I suppose just cruise along in second gear.
