No! They did'nt. But one German 80years old A2 driver did this on his own. So you are on your own with that.

It is not that hard to do - you can use mounting kits from the A6 (old shape) to fit the sensors in the bumper, then run the wiring to the control unit (you would need to use one capable of front and rear operation).

Cheers,

I was looking for this one:

It is working by sticking a metal strip in your bumper, so you do not have to drill holes.

The mounting kits which are used on the rear bumper will also work on the front bumper, yes.

Don't forget that you will need a controller capable of front and rear operation.

If you have factory fitted rear sensors, you will need to change the controller already in the car to one that is capable of handling front AND rear sensors, such as those for the A6 and certain A4 models.

To fit front sensors, get hold of 4 fitting kits for the old-style A6 and 4 new sensors. Remove the bumper and drill 4 25mm holes in the appropriate places and attach the fitting kits, then the sensors.

You will have to build a new wiring loom to connect the sensors to the controller and that is then it - all the other connections will be there already for the rear sensors.

Cheers,

Mike
