Hi Stuart,

I was wondering how much work it would be to set up a chat room for the site??
It'd be cool if we could chat "live".

It's possible and I have thought about it before - but I would it defeat the purpose/popularity of the forum?

what if you set up one that only club members could use? This would make it more "serious" and avoid having other "types" use it.

It's a good idea to make it members on/by invitation only. I'll look into it.

I have set a very basic chatroom on the A2OC website. I'll look for a more professional looking one but I'm sure this will do for the time being. I hope it does not put people off from using the forum!

I did chat!! with 3, quite nice to speak someone from the forum 'live'. I hope more people will use it.

Stuart I think you have to find a better chat program, because I cant get on it, and it doesnt look allright. It really doesnt work at my PC, just once it did. Maybe I can help you find a better chat program.

I have found a better one already but haven't had the time to set it up. I'll try and get it running on Saturday morning.

Let me know if you have found a better one and send me the link and I'll have a look.

isn't it possible to install an IRC server ?? So that we can use any IRC client to connect to it ??

The java applet doesn't load always...
