Sidelights/ citylights

Ok so I know how to get the headlamp off the car thanks to the excellent guides on this forum. :)

My question is how do i get the citylights out? I have found a thread that states just pull them - but this doesn't work. If i rotate them 90 deg then they seem to come out further but not the whole way.

They can be a bit tight at first, but they do just pull out. Be careful not to bent or twist the black plastic though as it breaks really easily, meaning that you'll need to use radio pliers to get it out in the future, or buy a newheadlamp in the worst case (cos they don't do the individual parts!!!).

I did try pulling reasonably hard but I shall try harder even though it will scare me :)
