BOSE Retrofit, Essex

Hello!

I really want to retrofit a BOSE system to my 2002 A2 1.4 TDI, which has a Concert II stereo (I think?).

Does anyone know an 'expert' that could do it for me for ££ round here? :)

Alternatively, has anyone had success in 'upgrading' the standard fit stereo with a small amp to boost output a bit?

I have indeed and if you can find the parts for decent money (forget getting them new, the amp alone is £450!!!) it's very well worth doing.

The wiring is not that scary and the sound benefit is well worth the effort - I am a professional sound engineer, so I do have a little knowledge of these things!
