Please note: lots of links...

Thanks for all the info on my previous post.
After reading your replies and some of the other threads I have decided to go for a TDI 90.

If it was you; which one would you buy?
Thanks for any and all opinions/comments

Looking for a 2004 or later, up to £11k, though might manage £11.5k at a squeeze

Nice easy wipe clean leather?

Though this one seems to have been used as a courtesy car and looks pretty scuffed inside

My money would be on the Autoselect one

TDI 90 Sport
FSH
Front fogs
21K
4x elec windows
6CD
11995

With half leather/alcantara seats

The red cirrus fabric interior on that other one is

Update

After emailing Reading Audi and saying I wasn't interested as it appeared the car was being used as a courtesy car. They responded thus,
'The car is being used as a chase car by our drivers to follow cars being
dropped off after service and collect the driver. It is not being used
as a courtesy car'

That's ok then. I'm sure it has been respectly driven by the fine, upstanding, advanced, considerate members of the Service Dept.

Not sure about the one from White Cottage, but that's because I'm not a fan of blue cars. It would appear to be the sensible choice.

The other blue one has reappeared with RB Cars

It was previously £10 750 but it's now £12 995!

The black one that was with Preston Jag has now been passed on for the same price to

As mentioned in the other thread, I seem to be going towards the Parklands with the extras and the ebay one with the red leather.

If the sport from Auto Select was a grand cheaper...

Comments and opinions please folks.

If you went to them well armed with print outs of some of the other A2's you've listed I bet you'd get near a grand off it.. especially if they could see you we're serious. Do your research and get the book price on hand also, you'll never get them near that but every bit of ammunition helps, especially when they're blatantly overpriced

Good to see you have been hard at work!

That one described as 'Colour Storm.' isn't - they have black wheel arches, rubbing strips and roof, this one is a standard SE

That ones a '75' - all the air in the rear wheel gives it away - no rear discs ;)

That one is a '75' Special Edition, which isn't the same as 'SE' (despite it making sense if it were :) )

'tis a '75' too - check out that air!

The Alcantara and leather option is rather nice - the Alcantara is the bit that is actually sat on with leather making up the bolsters. It came with sports seats and electric lumbar and wasn't an expensive upgrade on Sport models (about £900 on the basic, SE and Special Edition models, £600 on the Sport)

My money is on this one - it looks nice, is well priced and has a reasonable mileage on it:

I went to see the white cottage one and it was indeed a good buy - in great nick, good mileage, nice price. Apparently the one previous owner traded it in for two cars!

Only reason I didn't buy it was it was a more than I wanted to spend overall. However, I was able to use it to get a good discount off a 53 reg TDI. The tip about taking a sheaf of print-outs of other A2s is one I can heartily recommend!
