Hello,

I am about to sell my wifes Audi A2 1.4SE ( Silver) and would like some advice on its value. It is a Y reg ( 2001 ) with 63,000 miles and is in good condition. It has one previous owner and a full Audi service history, it needs a service in 7000 miles. I am not sure what is optional and what is standard but it has :Climate control, cd changer in boot, cup holders in rear & front, fog lamps, electric mirrors, windows, extra boot storage compartment under floor, mats, new tyres , tax and mot. etc. It has been used to ferry the kids to school and now we want something bigger. Thanks. :)

Assuming it is a 1.4 petrol rather than diesel, then the free What Car? valuation tool on the Autotrader website says:

Dealer £5,170
Private £4,470
Part Ex £4,220

However these figures seem a bit low as the cheapest similar A2 I can find on the Autotrader website is a 63,000 mile (identical mileage) blue 2000 / X plate listed at £4,600 - most others are £4,995 upwards. Your choice obviously, but I suggest listing it at around the £5K mark and be prepared to be haggled down (and receive loads of calls from dubious firms). HTH.
