Well the time has come to say goodbye to the A2, I will be changing it next week for a SEAT Altea 1.9 TDI Reference Sport. A bit more room in the SEAT when you have two growing boys.
Car comes with A/C, not got in A2, sliding rear seat, Mp3 and ipod adapter, spare wheel, not got in A2, and three rear seats, also not got in A2.
I have enjoyed the nearly three years ownership and can say that it has been the best car, so far, I have owned.
Got a good deal on the A2, and going to accessorise the Altea slightly to stand out from others.
I will miss attending the ADI this year, but will try and get to some other VAG shows this year, so may see you at GTI Inters if you are attending.
If anyone is interested, I have a set of roof bars that will now be available, plus a genuine VAG Fuel filter for the 1.4 TDI.
I will try and pop back every now now and then and will try and flag any A2 I do see.
May I take this opportunity and thank Ben, Carl, and Mike and all at A2OC and wish you many more happy miles in the best Audi on the road.

Sorry to see you move on in car type like I have, hopefully you will keep popping in now and then.
Kids eh, they just keep growing and eating you out of house and home, just like my two!

Best of luck with the Spanish motor Martin - I hope that you get almost as much fun from it as you have from the A2 (bet you won't though!).
Do keep popping back from time to time as well - who knows, you may even get the urge to get one of the cheaper A2s out there, withdrawal syptoms and all that!
Oh, and to anyone thinking of the roof bars - they're good 'uns - I should know as Martin bought them from me!!
Cheers,
Mike
Happy Seat Motoring - and keep intouch.

Can anyone confirm if Luc Donckerwolke has had a hand in both the design of the Audi's A2 and Seat cars?
John.
They're nice cars the Altea with a good size interior. An ideal family-mobile without being dull. I hope it doesn't have 'shat-nav' as my friends Dad has a Toledo with the system and it is always going wrong. At least the Altea doesn't have the Toledo's lard-bum.
For my money, I'd buy a Skoda Octavia Estate if I needed room for a larger family. 2.0TDI Elegance's are down the £10K which is startling value.

Don't fancy doing a swap of jackets do you, as you have SEAT one driving an Audi, and I have an Audi one driving a SEAT.
Will look out for you on SeatCupra.net

Haha ;)
After owning 3 and still having 2 SEAT's in the family I'll be supporting their BTCC team once again this year - wearing my jacket! :p
When the Altea has been 'pimped' with a few styling mods it looks far better than the new Leon IMO - best of luck to you with it, look forward to seeing it!

I spent two days in a nearly new Octavia 2.0TDI Estate (140PS) in Germany in the autumn. Maxed at 130mph on the Autobahn, felt as steady as a rock. Very impressive car! And, no I wasn't driving - it was a 'native'...
