Do FSIs burn/use any oil?

Hi just wondered if FSI engines as in the A2 use/lose/burn any oil? I've done 6k miles so far and it hasn't used any, I always thought that VW/Audi engines were prone to high oil usage, maybe the FSI is different? Thanks, Lyndon

done 5000 in mine since I got it (now on 24,000) and I have yet to notice any fall on the dipstick. But then with that dipstick, who knows!

Mine uses approx half a litre per 6,000 miles so to me, that's more than acceptable.
