Front bumper question

Has anyone noticed that the middle section of the front bumper is a slightly different colour to the edges either side of the front number plate.

Is it some sort of extra stone chip protection laquer? strange......:confused:

Yes, i've noticed it, on every silver car i've seen... I think it might be the light refracting on the different angles on the bumper. Nothing to worry about.:)
