Will this headunit control a CD Changer?
I want to add a Sony glove box changer. i have seen a sony changer connected to stock audi h/u with the use of a convertor.
Thanks

Need to have a photo of the rear connectors to establish whether it is changer capable or not really.
Cheers,
Mike

i dont have a actual pic of my stereo, but found this on the net
http://images.google.co.uk/imgres?imgurl=http://www.erta.ru/base/audi/pic/chorus-blau_pin.jpg&imgrefurl=http://www.erta.ru/base/audi/chorus_blau.shtml&h=213&w=300&sz=19&hl=en&start=19&tbnid=zWg1fHvlxuJGMM:&tbnh=82&tbnw=116&prev=/images%3Fq%3Daudi%2Bchorus%26start%3D18%26ndsp%3D1 8%26svnum%3D10%26hl%3Den%26sa%3DN
Also if i buy a CAN-BUS emulator and fit a Concert 2 headunit, will the new h/u improve AM Radio reception?

If that pin diagram is correct, then the answer is no - the connectors for the cd changer are missing.

Mike

If that picture is your unit, then no. It is the Chorus. However, if you get a Concert I, which looks almost the same and very cheap on ebay, then you can connect a mini-iso adapter via a converter unit to whatever changer you want.

Cheers for that. Is the concert 1 pre can-bus model?
Is there a specific concert 1 model I require for the A2? Had a quick look on ebay and they seem abit short in length when compared to my current chorus h/u.
thanks

I haven't checked but I think there is only one Concert I and both it and Chorus are pre-CAN. I'm pretty certain it is compatible with your car given yours is also a 2001. They are very cheap on ebay, so there is little to loose. Oh, don't forget a VAG-COM to code the new headunit in!
