Paint code colour location?

A simple question from a newbie to this site...though a 70K A2 1.6FSi Sport miler!

Where do I find the paint code located on the car?

Not sure where on the car but I think you can get it from any audi dealership, give them your reg number and they'll have the code.

I seem to remember that the paint code for my A2 is in the service book - a piece of paper with several codes is stuck in the front of the book

Paul is right, all the factory fit options are listed in the frong of the service book. There should also be a loose piece of paper with a duplicate list hidden in one of the cubby holes in the boot floor.
