Hi everybody...

New owner here...moved from a Mercedes A Class 170 diesel Elegance.

I can tell you now...there is no comparison. A2 wins hands down...except for one small niggling thing.

I loved the centre arm rest in the A Class. It made long journeys much more comfortable.

So the questions are:

1. Do Audi do a centre armrest? If so, how much? (I think I know the asnwer to the second question: a bundle!)

2. Are there any after market independents making well designed arm rests?

3. Does anyone have such a thing for sale?

A2's ROCK!!!

Alan

I have an A4 armrest and am currently looking at the possibility of modding it to fit the A2.

The main problem with the A2, as far as an armrest is concerned is that the centre tunnel console is so much lower than all othe A-series cars.

This will no doubt mean that either the armrest will be too low, or I will need to make up some kind of extra tall bracket and matching cover to bring things up to their proper place.

I'll get back to work now!

Cheers,

Mike

Stuart (former site owner) negotiated a deal with an Italian company 4 years ago:

We could see if they are still in the business of making them...

I saw a while ago an armrest for an A2 attached directly to the seat. It was just for 1 seat only and i believe the price was somewhere around €160.
Probably it is an option for a VW.

That was the best (an most expensive) armrest i have ever seen, but i had my doubts how they could fit it properly without opening the seat itself.

Couldn't copy the picture then, i will do a search on marktplaats.nl

Saw an armrest made by Kamei (who have a good reputation for quality accessories) on e.bay which may be of interest
