Apparently it seems our little A2 has been voted 41 out of 152, in front of the TT(49/152), A4(65/152), A3(56/152) and A6(83/152)! Glad to see that the baby Audi has out performed its bigger siblings once again.

That is GREAT news yet again... Every year it beats both the Golf (http://www.topgear.com/content/carsurvey/2006/volkswagen/golf_new/) and the A-class. The two cars I see as its main competitors.

The top 10 hardly a suprising list either as they are in the top ten in every magasine list like that all the time too.

Good to see the Panda so high up. Just another reason to get a 100HP one! Aren't they just amazing looking cars that new sporty one?! It is so good it even featured on EVO magazine's front cover. A magazine dedicated to the Aston Martins and Ferrari's of the world.

And if you thought the 307 was a lemon the Megane is only one place "better" at 3rd worse overall... Pathetic.

Agree with you on the Panda - only a shame they don't sell RHD Panda Cross or the 4x4 with the 1.3 Multijet engine!

But I still luv the eco A2 1.2TDI and now have a petrol head car for the race track see:

They might be amazing looking, and great in the city but the panda is rubbish on the motorway! I drove one from Milan to Monaco (and yes, I did the Monte Carlo tunnel in a Panda!) in December, the economy was not amazing but decent. Parking is great (see attachment ;-) ) especially when city mode is on, you can steer with 1 finger. However, even with 4 adults, it is very unstable on the motorway and I had a few moments when the car simply couldn't cope with the twisty coastal highway (~70mph) and I had to slow down a lot. It felt really unsafe!

But hey, it does look pretty good :)

I would suspect the 100HP sporty one will feel much better with its lowered and harder suspension. I won't buy any other Panda but the 100hp... The others look OK but it needs a stronger engine and harder suspension. EXACTLY what the HP is! Change A2 for one? Nope...
