Any ideas on what carkit to use connected to the Concert II...

Will a carkit go over the speakers or should I install a separate speaker....

Bluetooth or Fixed.....

Parrot seems to be the flavour at the moment.

Having installed a couple, they seem to be very good and well made, they cut out the radio and are bluetooth.

They require no modifications to wiring or trim and basically do what they're supposed to.

If money is no object, go for the Audi BT system, which will interface with any headunit (not just RNS-E as is the common misconception) and cut out the speakers and show call info on the DIS if you have it fitted.

Cheers,

Mike

That is interesting, so the Audi BT kit will be ok with a concert II? I will need to change my kit when I next change my phone as SE have updated the phone ports now :(

When you say "money no object......"

Could you give us an idea?

Thanks.

Spent 2 days with a colleague in Germany in his new Skoda Octavia TDI140. He had a nokia cradle which allowed him to access his phone via the steering wheel buttons, with the display shown on the DIS. That's the way to do it! Not very easy to retrofit the steering wheel buttons perhaps - though I'm sure Mike will try.... ;)

Done it already - my TT wheel is multifunction!

The audi BT kit doesn't seem to be available second hand. I've tried a few breakers as well as watching ebay.

Oh yes, of course! I'd forgotten. Last time I read that thread you hadn't connected the controls....

Yes - still haven't gotten round to it yet, although I do have the neccesarry parts now.

In my A4 I have the Audi BT kit. Perfect in case you forget to take the cell out of your jacket or so. I also have a cradle (Audi Gullmann) installed in my armrest. As soon as I click it in it automaticlly switches off BT and uses the wired connection instead........

Truly perfect system....

My wife's Nokia 9300 can in fact connect with the A4 BT-set but the menu isn't shown on the display (older version of BT! in Nokia 9300)....don't know if I can update the BT version in the cellphone....

I thought of getting the original BT for the A2 but if the DIS cannot show the menu/phonebook it is not what I need....

Looking for alternatives.....although the original Audi BT set is the best of course

What serial number should be used if the original Audi BT-kit is bought. I have seen several on ebay but with different numbers............
