OK rather than take up A2OC webspace here's the link to the issue on the German forum (in english!):

Your ideas, advice most welcome on this site, via email or PM.

Sounds like a faulty ABS sensor - if it's happening at low revs there is half a chance this is connected to the traction control which uses ABS to 'reign-in' the traction on each wheel.

If it also happens on-lock there is half a chance it is due to a faulty wire, either through the insulation being 'rubbed off' or the wire actually coming loose.

I'm suprised there is no ABS warning light activated but it will possible need a new wheel hub which might be a specific part for the Eco.

thanks ULP

I think I will try replacing the hub sensors first to see if that does any good - assuming they are not too expensive! I think there are some raised braille like ridges on the hub surface that the sensors pick up from.

Maybe these have rusted away.

ECO in roll mode certainly uses more braking but the patterns on the discs I've never seen before and the cracking of the pads is not welcome - maybe overly hot?
