I've had a few practice runs to remove the dash (to replace a faulty sensor). I've done the passenger side. Center console and then the driver side. Unfortunately, I realise I don't have anything suitable to unscrew the main bolt that secures the steering wheel.
Is it a torx M12 bit? Went pass a local halfords and couldn't find anything suitable. Would be great if anyone knows where I can buy it.
Anyway, I'll check back with you guys 3 weeks later, after my holiday!

There was a post about this a few weeks ago. Its an M12 spline bit your after. You ll also need a torque wrench to get the right tightness when you put it.

Hi Humps
It is an M12 spline bit as alexwharton indicated.
Laser Tools list one and there are usually a few on e.bay (search for M12 spline)

Got my spline bit from Halfords.

Not sure if all Halfords stores are the same but our's stopped selling individual torx and spline bits a while ago. Still worth a try though.
