Audi Chorus Head Unit

Can you only have 4 speakers? My car already has 2 speakers along with the tweeters...can you add rear speakers to chorus?

The info I read suggests the later Chorus 2 head units will run rear speakers but the early ones won't

Correct as ever Spike, but Adrenaline, don't confuse 2 lower speakers and 2 tweeters as equalling 4 speakers - in Audi terms (and electrical terms) they count as 2.

You will need to remove the headunit and take a look at the connectors on the back. It is unlikely that you can simply add a couple of passive rear speakers, but if the pre-amp outputs are there, then you can add a little amp (in the driver footwell compartment) and the speakers yes.

Erm! if that's the case Mike I appear to have lost 4 of my 10 in my A4 avant!
