Gearbox Codes

What is the difference between GCD, GKZ and GSK??? I have 03 1.6FSI Sport... Which gearbox should I have?

I don't know the differences between these gearboxes but it's easy to check the correct code for your car. The engine and gearbox code (plus codes for all the original accessories) are listed on the inside cover of the service schedule booklet. There is ususlly a duplicate list tucked into one of the recesses round the battery area in the boot.

Hi Spike,

Just noticed the codes in the service schedule booklet. I suspect the different codes are for gearboxes with different gear ratios for the FSI TDI and the normal 1.4 petrol...

That is right the codes are for different gearboxes Tdi 75 Tdi90 Fsi
