Sony head unit, ideally for BOSE equiped cars as it has no onboard amplifier, comes with adaptor, noise supressors and adaptor for audi single din space.

TFT face, flip down front and CD tray loading mechanism, memory stick slot for ATRAC playback, MP3 on CD / CDr / CDrw support.

Cost new was iro £1k, but its an old unit now. Ideally would like to swap for something as cash always disappears, so iro £400 - A2 body styling, alloys, why?

I just wanted to ask a couple of questions about the adapters and seeing as you had a Sony head unit installed maybe you would be able to answer the questions I had in my post.

Which adapters will I need. One for the wire loom? or will that just plug directly into the new Sony head unit? Like Skipton mentioned I will definitely require the fascia plates as the original Audi unit is longer in width. Anything else I need?
