Hi Guys

In line with my seemingly typical car attention span, I'm considering possibly, maybe, selling my A2 after almost 2 years of trouble free and fun motoring.

As those of you who've been to Coombe and a couple of other socials will know, it's a really clean 54 plate Dolphin Grey 1.4 Sport with Audi Bodykit fitted from new. It's done just over 26k and the second variable service is showing as due in about 3k. Audi warranty runs until 1/9/07.

For some inexplicable reason, I've managed to scrape both nearside wheels recently but this can be sorted easily so no major shakes. Let's face it, the 17's 9 spoked are pretty easy to scuff..!

For pictures, please look at the Gallery, here

IF I do decide to sell, I'd be looking for about £8500. Any takers?

cheers

I Cant believe you might be selling Matt what are you looking at to replace it
i hope if you do sell it it will be someone from the club that buys it as it would
be a shame for your fine example to dissapear from the club scene .....:(

Not 100% sure yet. Expect I'll get a few words of advice whatever I say so, here goes... Mini Cooper S plus something MPV sized for about £4k for those bigger days out... BMW 120/118d (test drive this Thurs)... Keep the A2... Confused.com!!

Basically, fancy something with a bit more grunt again. But then, it's got to be as fun as the A2, good build quality, low depreciation etc etc... you know, the perfect car that doesn't actually exist! Or is the perfect car already sat on my drive?!

I suspect the latter option is correct, but you've got itchy feet, like we all do once in a while.

You must resist the urges! They'll only lead to disappointment you know!

Cheers,

Mike

I know you're right. It will probably hit the heart and the wallet... Do you think the price is reasonable if I do decide to sell..?

Dead right. Keep the A2 and buy a £100 Mondeo V6 or Nissan 200SX to play with, then chop it every 6 months for another car.

You guys are probably right. Bet I'll be back here in a few months saying WHY WHY WHY...!!

Got offered £7100 px by Sytner Mini this am then increased to £7650 pm. Apparently Sytner Audi up north have got a buyer who's been waiting for my exact car. Like yeah, of course they have. If you are this mystery buyer, let me know and see if we can cut a deal...!!

Hi

looking into the purchase of an A2 - ideally a sport model with leather trim.

Does yours have a leather trim and is it still for sale ?

Regards, Trevor

Doesn't have leather I'm afraid. Does have a very tasteful charcoal cloth though. Managed to get a px price of £7500 from a dealer so not bad I suppose? Will be looking to sell in the next week.

Hello again,

sorry, ignore my last post just done a bit of 'post searching' :o

someone else had referred to it as a diesel in another thread which is why I asked.

good luck with the sale.
