Cheap Shell V Power Fuel

I heard that Shell are having a special promotion on V Power fuel on May 16th (tomorrow) which is supposedly the anniversary of its introduction. There is nothing on the Shell web site but the young guns at work assure me it's true.

hmmm i'm running my A2 on v-power all the time anyway, isn't it sods law i fill up the day before anything like this apparently occurs! grr :(

Swung by my local Shell earlier in Acton and it doesn't seem like the rumour is true :mad: Never mind, worth a try

It turns out that only selected Shell stations participated and the price was reduced to that of standard fuel (about 7p per litre off) One of the guys at work made a 30 mile round trip to fill up his Cupra R and saved £4 - the way he drives we reckon he made a small loss on the trip!!!!

Personally yes, my car feels more responsive and i find that my MPG goes up a bit too so the more miles i get more than pays for the extra pound or so i pay for the premium fuel
