Well the wife was out and about yesterday and the A2 suffered a bit of damage yesterday due to someone hitting it in a car park and doing a runner.

And the driver (a woman) was caught by 2 witnesses and still made a run for it. They said she flew into a parking space but reversed really quickly as if she was doing a 3 point turn the back of her car ramming ours (they said my car moved)

So they got the registration number took it to the local cop shop but now need to wait to find out whats going to happen.

Aint happy in paying an excess for something that wasn't my fault:mad:

Hope she gets the book thrown at her

You will probably find the car is not registered to her or insured or taxed or MOT'd.

well the insurance have did a check and the car is insured, just waiting on the police to get back to me as they mention something about it possibly being a company car ?

it was an 05 plate Volvo S40 so chances of being unregistered pretty slim i think

Who knows but i want her caught:mad:

Similar thing happened to us a few months back but unfortunately there weren't any witness's i ended up paying nearly £70 for a rear light and got a second hand bumper off here already sprayed the correct colour. All we knew was that a green vehicle had hit us as there was lots of green paint left on our car.

Well if the volvo is a company car she was probably pi**ed up after another hard meeting at the local wine bar/pub.

Sweeping generalism I know but it wouldnt be the first time this kind of thing has happened.
